Our Mission
Mission: UNITE
aims to educate the public about the dangers of psychiatric drugs
and other interventions. Through referrals, continued research, and
collaboration, we can improve our society and the world by
preventing unnecessary harm to innocent people.
United Non-Profits and Individuals for Truth and Ethics
This website is intended to help existing groups work together to combat psychiatry and psychiatric drugs as well as their influence on our society and lives. Individuals with websites or blogs, and existing organizations are invited to list their information on this site as well as to publicize their latest projects or concerns here.
If you are an individual without a blog or website and would like
your business or personal contact information listed as a resource,
or if you would like to offer your assistance or information, please contact
amy@uniteforlife.org or send an email via our
yahoo group.
PLEASE NOTE:
UNITE is not an affiliate, subsidiary,
or component of any religious organization. This site exists out of
a genuine concern for others, unlike some "mental health" groups
funded by pharmaceuticals. Use the information on this site as you
see fit.
About our Funding:
Unlike many pharma-friendly groups, this website is run at the
personal expense of Amy Philo and her husband. The site operates at
the grassroots level purely for awareness purposes. Non-tax-deductible donations are appreciated.
If you would like a copy of our Public Service
Announcements DVD please send an email to
amy@uniteforlife.org
along with your mailing address.
Amy also runs a CafePress store at:
www.cafepress.com/undercovermom.
If you would like to purchase items from that store, a small markup
of about $1 per item will go to recoup costs from this website and
our outreach efforts, and then all other earnings will be donated to
another drug awareness charity in desperate need of
funds.
Amy also runs the CafePress Store for UNITE's sister organization
CHAADA at:
www.cafepress.com/chaada.
Please check out our items there as well. The CHAADA webmaster could
also use a hand with recouping costs. Markup is only $1.
